Start Your Journey Here!
Thank you for registering at the Neohumanist College of Asheville to expand your heart, open your mind, and serve for a just and sustainable world!
A Story
I remember when I took my first online course and felt the uncertainty about how all the technology would work and how I would engage with my professors and my peers virtually. It is from that point of understanding that this Course has been developed to provide you with practice with virtual learning at the Neohumanist College of Asheville by using LearnDash.
Course Objectives
“Course Objectives” can be found throughout your learning journey with NHCA. Before engaging in any learning activity, it is important that students and faculty be aligned with its goal. That is why you will find “course objectives” described at the start of any learning activity. Be sure to review these course objectives at the start of your learning exercise, so you understand where to focus your energy. It’s also valuable to review the course objectives at the end of any Learning Activity Lesson in order to self-reflect on how you achieved the learning objectives during the course.
An Example For This Course
By the end of this course, you will:
- Demonstrate an understanding of how to login to LearnDash, the virtual learning platform for NHCA
- Become familiar with the structure of the learning environment and how to engage with the content, your peers and your faculty
