Welcome to the Teams module for the Leadership for Social Change Program. Here are a few administrative points that we need you to be aware of.

Global DISC Assessment

If you have not done a Global DISC Assessment within the previous 18-24 months, you will need to obtain one during the course. Before starting the course, you need to pay for the Global DISC assessment. If you haven’t received instructions on how to do this, please email satya.tanner@nhca.gurukul.edu now. Otherwise your enrollment will not be finalized.

Peer Coaching

During the course you will meet up with other participants and discuss pre-determined questions and do activities related to the course content course. We will swap people around for the peer coaching and announce a “schedule” once enrollments are finalised.

Assessment

As this is a blended learning course, please make sure to read these instructions carefully and complete all parts of the course (by clicking “mark complete”) in order to be eligible for your completion certificate.

Assessment is based on participation and attendance, rather than grading. Therefore it is necessary for you to complete your reflective journal and commentary on your quests in order to pass. Furthermore, you are required to attend 100% of the workshops and miss no more than 1 group coaching session.

Calendar and coursework

This course is a blended learning course which means that we DO NOT meet on a weekly basis like many other courses. Instead, the first 12 weeks is primarily self-study with monthly group sessions. Then we have two weekends of intensive workshops, and finally group coaching directed towards our personal learning goals. Because the sessions are irregular, please make sure you put them in your calendar, so that you don’t accidentally miss them.

Community sharing

Please join our facebook group (see Group Sharing). You will publish the results of your quests there, and this is also a forum where you can chat with other participants about the ideas presented in the course.
